3rd Annual Wiffle Fall Classic
Date: Saturday, October 3, 2015
Location: East Norriton Township Park (Same venue as last year)
The date is set, the field is reserved and registration is open. Get your friends and family together and come out for a fun filled day of Wiffle to support a great cause.
We are limiting the number of teams to 32, so be sure to register your team soon.
New this year we are allowing teams to register as a "fun only" team. These teams will not keep score, play 3 games, and be permitted to use whatever size plastic bat they can find. These teams will not take part in the tournament portion of the day.
Follow us on Facebook and Twitter for all updates, and to help spread the word.
We look forward to seeing you in October.
This past Saturday, 21 teams gathered together in East Norriton, PA to have a fun filled, and somewhat competitive, day of Wiffle Ball. Teams from PA, NY, NJ and DE came to take part in this event for a great cause. Even the Phillie Phanatic was in attendance.
The weather was absolutely perfect. The sun was shining bright, and there wasn't a cloud in the sky. When the day was over, these teams would play a total of 58 games. The defending Blue Division champions, Big Bat Wiffle, would end up repeating as champions. They defeated Way Too Beautiful in the Blue Division championship, while newcomers Whiff Lees won the Yellow division. Both teams will receive a free entry into next year's tournament.
In the new Home Run Derby, Rocky Ballboa's Kevin Dowd and tournament organizer Joe Kerins walked away home run kings.
When the sun finally set, prizes were won, fun was had, and this Wiffle ball tournament, in only it's second year of existence raised $5000 for the T21 Club of the Delaware Valley.
We truly want to thank everyone who came out to support this event. Our sponsors, family, friends, fans, and volunteers all played a huge part in making this day a true success. Start spreading the word now, so we can make next year's tournament even better.
On Saturday, 24 teams will enjoy playing America's favorite backyard game in East Norriton, PA. The tournament unfortunately lost a handful of registered teams, but are still ensuring a full day of fun for everyone who comes out.
Teams will be drawn tomorrow to determine the first round of games and where teams will fall in the brackets.
Good luck to everyone!
We are only a few days away from the 2nd Wiffle Fall Classic. We would like to have the schedule finalized Friday to avoid any delays Saturday morning. We also want to start a new tradition this year and do a lottery for the first round of games.
In order to accomplish this, we are closing registration Thursday night. Any team not fully registered by Thursday evening will not be able to play as a team on Saturday.
If you want to get in, register soon. We currently have 24 teams fully registered, and 4 teams committed, but have not yet paid. Come Friday, we are going to schedule based on the number of teams that are fully registered to make the day go smoothly and more enjoyable for everyone. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions.
The 2014 Home Run Derby will be a little different than last year.
All hitters must have a Wiffle Fall Classic official to track outs and home runs. Official has final ruling on any fair or foul ball.
Fence will be 70' wide and 100' from the zone down the foul lines and 95' to center.
Balls must go over the fence fair in order to be a home run.
Players will get 2 practice swings. These do not count towards totals.
J.P. Mascaro & Sons has been generous enough to sponsor our event this year, and they are looking to get word out about an event of their own. Please take a minute to read about the Francesco A. Mascaro Memorial Blood Drive and see if you can help.
Throughout the month of August J.P. Mascaro & Sons will be hosting various blood drives in memory of Frank "The Chief" Mascaro who passed away last August. Their goal is to collect 1000 pints of blood in August, the month which blood supply is at its lowest. They are kicking off the month with a blood drive on Tuesday, August 5th and Saturday, August 9th at their headquarters in Audubon.

We understand that not everyone is able to donate, but please spread the word around. The more people we spread the word to, the better chances of finding those who can!!

Thank you in advance.
We will be looking to keep the entire day moving, and not keep teams waiting for more than an hour after they finish a game. Some teams will have to play games back to back. Here is how the day will work:
