We are only a few weeks away from the 2016 Wiffle Fall Classic, a charity Wiffle Ball tournament to benefit Blaise Davis, a 4 year old boy who was diagnosed with a rare bone cancer earlier this year. This year's tournament will take place on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at East Norriton Township park, located at 2501 Stanbridge St, Norristown, PA 19401. We are asking all teams to arrive no later than 9:00am so the first games can begin at9:30am.
We are still looking for teams and players to join in our tournament. The cost is $25 a person, which will get you entry into the tournament, and an event shirt (if you register byWednesday, 8/31). Teams are made up of 3 players or more (only 3 players in the field) and we do not run bases. All skill levels and ages are welcome. If you want to play, but don’t have a team, we have some open spots for you. Please email me directly at email@example.com, and I will get you on a team.
If you can't play in the tournament, but want to enjoy the day and still show your support for Blaise, the best time to come is around 2:00. We will be doing the last call for our raffles, 50/50, home run derby, and our special guest, the Philly Phanatic will be arriving around that time.
We are submitting our orders Wednesday of this week. This means that if you want to sponsor our event and get your name or logo on a banner or on our event shirt, we need to know ASAP if you want to donate. This also means that if you want to play in the tournament AND receive an event shirt, your team must be registered by Wednesday. For teams that have already registered, please check the Teams/Rosters page on the website and make sure your players and shirt sizes are correct. Teams that register after Wednesday can still play in the tournament, but will not receive an event shirt.
We are also looking for items to use as raffle prizes. If you know of someone who can donate any services, items, gift cards, or tickets to an event, please let us know. We will gladly exchange donated items in exchange for sponsorships.
If you have any questions please feel free to contact me directly.

We look forward to seeing you on Saturday, September 17.
